Happy 4th Birthday Addison

Today is Addison's 4th Birthday. Instead of celebrating here on Earth she is getting to spend this birthday with Jesus in Heaven. What a wonderful gift that is for her. We miss her very much and truly wish that we were with her today celebrating this joyous day, but know that in what seems like no time to her we will be together again. What a wonderful day that will be..:) While we wait we will continue to make sure Addison's legacy lives on and that we do whatever necessary to make her proud.

We love you Addison!

Addison's Journey began 1 year ago from today

It was a year ago today that we headed up to Kosair's with the fear that something might be terribly wrong with our Addison.  A year ago tomorrow evening, we heard the words that would change our lives forever.  We have struggled these past 7 months since Addison's passing, but we have been dreading the days and months starting with today,  in which each day will be a new anniversary of that incredible journey.  We have been comforted in many, many ways these past months and we know God will get us through this, but we can already see how difficult this is going to be this first go around.  We miss you Addison so much, but we know you are in a far better place than this world.  And we know you have been watching over us, it's just a huge struggle living in this world without you in it.  Addison, we will be remembering and reliving your heroism, courage, selflessness, and love for others over the next months.  We love you so much!

Addison's Tombstone

We are so excited to let everyone know that Addison's tombstone is up for Christmas.  It was unexpected but defintely a nice surpirse and a great gift for us. The workers were out in the rain working hard to get it up the last two days.  We want to thank Tim Thomas and everyone at Keith Monument for working so hard to get Addison's stone ready to be put up in time for Christmas. It is defintely the best gift for us.

Addison, we miss you terribly and its been very tough this holiday season without you here.

We want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.

Christmas Poem

I see the countless Christmas trees around the world below.
With many lights, like Heaven's stars, reflecting on the snow
The sight is so spectacular, please wipe away the tear
For I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.
I hear the many Christmas songs that people hold so dear
But the sound of music can't compare with the Christmas choir up here.
I have no words to tell you, the joy their voices bring.
For it is beyond description, to hear the angels sing.
I know how much you miss me, I see the pain inside your heart
But I an not so far away, we really aren't apart.
So be happy for me dear ones, you know I hold you dear.
And be glad I'm spending Christmas with Jesus this year.

We love you and miss you so much our sweet baby girl!
