3^rd Annual AJB Foundation 5K Family Fun Run/Walk

(Exit 86 off of 1-65..Take a right at the stop sign and follow road into Glendale. After crossing the railroad tracks Glendale Christian Church will be straight ahead on your left.)

Your Participation in the 3^rd Annual Addison Jo Blair 5k supports the following:

•Children receiving cancer treatment at Kosair Children’s Hospital in Louisville, KY.

•Funds are allocated annually to Kosair Children’s Hospital through the Children’s Hospital Foundation to support advancements in pediatric cancer care, programming, research, and facilities to directly support the Addison Jo Blair Cancer Care Center at Kosair Children’s Hospital.

•Gift bags delivered by the Addison Jo Blair Foundation to children who are receiving cancer treatment at Kosair Children’s Hospital.

•Food parties for the children and their families held on the floor of the Addison Jo Blair Cancer Care Center, hosted and provided by the Addison Jo Blair Foundation.

•Needs assistance/items to children who are undergoing cancer treatment at Kosair Children’s Hospital.

• CURESEARCH, funding for pediatric cancer research that focuses specifically on new treatment drugs, protocols, and cures for pediatric cancers through clinical trials and research-based studies.

•The Addison Jo Blair Memorial Scholarship, given annually, is for one student who has demonstrated integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity in their life.

Race Information:

*Run the 5K; Walk the 5K; Walk the 1-Mile Course

*A pledge sheet/envelope will be mailed to each registered participant. This is 100% voluntary but highly encouraged. All pledge money will go to support children battling cancer at Kosair Children’s Hospital.

*DIVISIONS: Men's Division; Women's Division; Youth Boy Division (13 years and under); Youth Girl Division (13 years and under)

*Race will be timed by TriStateRacer using chip timing.

*Receive a race t-shirt and goody bag if pre-register by May 3^rd.

*Trophies and cash prizes for 1^st through 3^rd place in each race division.

*NEW THIS YEAR: KID ZONE: Bounce House; Face Painting; Snow Cones; Card-Making. So bring your kids
